Study for a degree as a singer songwriter at UTAS Conservatorium of Music
A new and exciting opportunity is being introduced for songwriters and singer-songwriters, to enroll in a degree that brings the art and practice of songwriting and the expectations and demands of the modern music industry together for the first time in Australia. The Conservatorium of Music in conjunction with (APRA) have come together to provide some of Australia’s most respected and successful songwriters to teach into this program. Songwriters who have agreed to participate currently include: Ross Wilson (Daddy Cool/Mondo Rock); Michael Spiby (Badloves); Greg Arnold (Things Of Stone And Wood, swamp Dandies); Brian Cadd, Eric McCusker; David Wayman;
SCHOLARSHIPS covering HECS costs for this degree, available to APRA AMCOS music creators and customers only.
For APRA AMCOS music creators and customers only, UTAS will provide a scholarship to cover the HECS costs for this degree to all successful applicants living outside Tasmania.*
This offer is open only to APRA AMCOS music creators and customers and represents a saving in excess of $6000 per year for the duration of the degree * (HECS contribution amount for the 2010 academic year.)
The APRA AMCOS scholarship is not available through this program to students who are live in Tasmania.
