What do you love most about APRA AMCOS?

The people! My co-workers I get to work with every day and working closely with our members. The company’s culture is amazing. It’s fun and creative and whose values & purpose aligns closely with my own, so given I have to work fulltime and be somewhere every day, makes it easier and more interesting! That’s why I’ve continued to work here as long as I have, I genuinely believe in and love the work that we do.

What makes you happy at work?

I’m happy at work when I get to work to my strengths and contribute towards something meaningful and creative. I’m lucky that I get to do this in my day to day.

How has APRA AMCOS shaped your career?

I’ve been very fortunate during my time at APRA. I’ve been able to work with and learn from fiercely intelligent, passionate, funny and dedicated people. They’ve encouraged, challenged and pushed me, to learn, develop and step out of my comfort zone. I’ve been through the mentoring program and received grants to further develop my skills in leadership that I get to use in my role.

What was your main reason for wanting to join APRA AMCOS?

Unlike many of my wonderful colleagues, I don’t create music myself, but absolutely love it and believe whole heartedly in the power and magic music brings to society and our well-being. I wanted to be part of a company whose key focus is to advocate for and support the music creators, who are brave enough and put so much into sharing their gift of music with the world.
