Bart Willoughby’s musical career began in 1978 when he pioneered a distinctive sound, fusing Jamaican reggae with traditional influences. The legendary songwriter formed one of Australia’s first Aboriginal rock bands, No Fixed Address, and has toured nationally and internationally with the band as well as with Yothu Yindi and the Bart Willoughby Band. Bart recently received a grant to record the album 'We Still Live On' on the Melbourne Town Hall pipe organ, becoming the first Aboriginal artist to play this instrument.

Come along and hear Bart share his songwriting tips and perform a few songs in an intimate setting. APRA AMCOS representative Michael Hutchings will moderate and be available after the session to answer your questions.
