NSW - How to Make it to America

US attorney Andrea Szew talks visas, immigration and tax with Chit Chat

Thinking about moving to Nashville? Dreaming of jumping in a van and touring the USA? Planning a trek to SXSW? This session is for you. The world of immigration, visas and tax is a murky one, so get the lowdown from someone who knows it inside and out.

Andrea Szew is the founder and managing attorney of US law firm Szew Law Group, which specialises in immigration and international business. She has been an attorney for over 18 years, and has obtained US visas for hundreds of artists, producers, bands, and crew members throughout the entertainment industry. Andrea also handles many issues arising from the complicated US tax withholding rules.

Andrea will share insight and tips with APRA AMCOS members and their managers, and answer your questions in a session that’s essential for anyone interested in working or touring the US.

Places are limited. RSVP to writer@apra.com.au by Friday 9 September. The session will be filmed for those who cannot attend.
