Making Copyright Work for You

The Australian Copyright Council presents Making Copyright Work for You, a brand new seminar program offering practical sessions on topics such as:

  • Commercialising Copyright – this session covers identifying and valuing copyright; buying, selling and licensing copyright; and distribution models.
  • Protecting Your Copyright – this session looks at applying the copyright notice; using contracts to protect copyright; Digital Rights Management; and enforcing your copyright.
  • Working with Copyright  Getting it Right – this session deals with licencing and clearing copyright; risk management; and what to do when things go wrong.
  • Social Media – this session addresses how copyright applies online; dealing with user-generated content; linking, embedding and sharing; and minimising risk online.

Whether you create, manage, or use copyright material, these seminars will help make copyright work for you.
