SA - Anatomy of an Album with The Beards

From demo to master, APRA AMCOS is picking apart a series of great Australian albums with the songwriters and producers who brought them to life.

Australia’s premier beard related band, The Beards, released their third album Having A Beard Is The New Not Having A Beard in 2011 – garnering ARIA award and APRA Song Of The Year nominations along the way. We’ll be joined by Joshua Fielder, Tom Bettany, Joel McMillan and Michael Bidstrup to discuss the creation of this album from inspiration (beards) through to recording and mastering. Sharni Honor, host of The Porch Sessions, will moderate the discussion.

This is a free event. RSVP is essential to sa@apra.com.au.
