WA - Anatomy of an Album: Karnivool 'Themata'

From demo to master, APRA AMCOS is picking apart a series of great Australian albums with the songwriters and producers who brought them to life.

Producer Forrester Savell's aural palette is as rich as the list of artists lining up to work with him. Savell is joined by composer and performer Drew Goddard to dissect Themata, the 2005 debut full-length album by Australian progressive rock band Karnivool. Kerrang! magazine described the album as "a ten-track journey of soaring melody". Three singles were released from the album, "L1FEL1KE" in 2003, "Themata" and "Shutterspeed" in 2005.  This Anatomy of an Album session will be moderated by Sarah Tout (RTRfm, Voicebox Media Training).

This is a free event. RSVP is essential to wa@apra.com.au.
