QLD - Music and the Mind: a panel on mental health

Recent research has shown that there’s a high incidence of depression and anxiety among musicians. With low pay, unreliable work, bullying, stress and other factors all playing a part, keeping your head in check can often be a huge challenge – as can finding support when you need it the most.

To open up discussion about mental health, we’re bringing together a few people for a frank chat about maintaining a healthy – and creative – mind.

Time: 6pm (refreshments), 6.30pm (panel to begin)
Venue: APRA AMCOS office, Winn Street, Fortitude Valley
RSVP: qld@apra.com.au by 4pm 19th June. Spaces are limited!

Speakers:

  • Sally Howland (Support Act)
  • Jackie Marshall, Artist
  • Lisa Kunde, Psychologist
  • Dr Kim Bonk, GP
