QLD - Managing a Creative Calling w/ Tom Larkin (Townsville)

RSVP to qld@apra.com.au

4pm Meet the Locals
6pm Managing a Creative Calling, Presented by Tom Larkin

Forging a creative career is thrilling. But it comes with its own set of financial and emotional challenges. Recent research has brought mental health issues within the music industry to the forefront and APRA AMCOS has been facilitating events on the topic.

APRA AMCOS and QMusic are extending the well-received events to Townsville and Cairns, with Shihad drummer, producer and artist manager Tom Larkin leading Managing a Creative Calling. Drawing on a combination of research, personal experience, and strategies, Tom conducts a dynamic and open session on creativity, business, and finding support along the way. APRA AMCOS Representative Kellie Lloyd introduces the session with an overview of APRA AMCOS.

Come ahead at 4pm for the return of the Meet The Locals series, with Kellie covering membership topics in detail including Performance Reports, Registering Works, and more.

The event is FREE and open to anyone with an interest in a creative career.
