WA: ELECTRONIC MUSIC: RIGHTS & ROYALTIES - GET CONNECTED
Tues 25 June, 6pm for 6:30pm start
University of Western Australian Conservatorium of Music / Tunley Lecture Theatre
RSVP via Eventbrite

Join us for a special evening for writer and music publisher members, managers, producers, DJs, and others working within the night time music economy.

The sessions kicks off with a free music production masterclass on Ableton Live presented by WOMPP, followed by apresentation and panel discussion on rights management, how money is collected from nightclubs and festival promoters, and most importantly, distributed back to songwriters, composers, and music publishers.

Through a mix of case studies, an expert panel of industry guests, and ample time for a Q & A, we’ll look deeper into how the money flows in the world of electronic and dance music festivals and nightclubs.

Panelists include:
Elise Reitze-Swensen (Feels, WOMPP)
Reija Lee (Singer, Songwriter, Composer)
ShockOne/Karl Thomas (Composer, Artist)
Karen Hamilton (120 Publishing/TMRW Group)
Francesca Cotton (Entertainment Lawyer, RubyRed Legal)
Jose Horn (APRA AMCOS | OneMusic)

Frank Rodi (APRA AMCOS Innovation & Electronic Music Specialist) will moderate the panel and will be available for membership queries along with Writer Services Rep Tenille Elkins.

Guests will then be invited to join us for a networking drink following the presentation.
