Our Industry Insider sessions are a chance to get up close and personal with key BIGSOUND speakers and industry reps. This year's program will give attendees valuable insight on the ins-and-outs and the dos-and-don'ts of showcasing at major industry conferences, as well as a deep dive into music management. 

Free for APRA AMCOS members, and open to songwriters and BIGSOUND delegates who would like to learn more about us.

The In Conversation portion of the afternoon brings together two great management minds: Peer-Voted APRA Song of The Year Finalist and self-managed artist Mojo Juju, and this year's Lighthouse Award recipient Lorrae McKenna, whose Our Golden Friend management roster includes Jade Imagine, Jess Ribeiro, and RVG. Our very own Andrew Tuttle will moderate and there will be time for questions.

The UpStart Award is an annual grant of $10,000 to an emerging Victoria singer-songwriter. The award is funded by a music loving family in Melbourne and the winner will be decided by a panel of local artists and music experts.
The award will be adjudicated by a panel consisting of Victorian artists Cash Savage and Henry Wagons, and a range of industry experts from community radio, retail, and streaming services.

The Music Victoria Awards is excited to be returning to the Melbourne Recital Centre in November 2019 for its 14th year continuing as one of the most anticipated music industry events on the Melbourne Music Week calendar.
Submissions are FREE but only open to Music Victoria members.So if you’re Music Victoria Member, you may nominate yourself (or those you love) in the artists, venues and festivals categories until 5pm Saturday 31 August.
