Our Industry Insider sessions are a chance to get up close and personal with key BIGSOUND speakers and industry reps. This year's program will give attendees valuable insight on the ins-and-outs and the dos-and-don'ts of showcasing at major industry conferences, as well as a deep dive into music management. 

Free for APRA AMCOS members, and open to songwriters and BIGSOUND delegates who would like to learn more about us.

Showcasing: you've invested a lot to travel a long way and you've got 30 minutes to play the best set of your career. And then do it all over again. Hear all about showcasing from those who want to help you get the best results, moderated by Sounds Australia's Glenn Dickie.

The In Conversation portion of the afternoon brings together two great management minds: Peer-Voted APRA Song of The Year Finalist and self-managed artist Mojo Juju, and this year's Lighthouse Award recipient Lorrae McKenna, whose Our Golden Friend management roster includes Jade Imagine, Jess Ribeiro, and RVG. Our very own Andrew Tuttle will moderate and there will be time for questions.

Funding is available through the Contemporary Music Grant Program for South Australian based artists and representatives of artists that are composing and performing original music.
This program is delivered by the MUSIC DEVELOPMENT OFFICE (MDO).
Round Three: Closing date 9 December 2019, for activity that commences after 1 March 2020.

Valued at $100,000, the Generations Fellowship will connect emerging artists in the early stages of their career with established artists supporting intergenerational knowledge and experience within the music industry.

Coaches will be mentoring attendees on stage presence, performance, song writing development, music business; covering topics that may include music publishing, music distribution to major platforms (Spotify, Apple Music etc), royalty collection and more.

This five-day music retreat, hosted in Toowoomba, is built on a framework able to facilitate musicians regardless of their experience with tutors ready to guide you to that next level sound, and inspire you to create, collaborate and connect.

The Arts Projects program funds a range of activities that deliver benefits to the arts sector and wider public, including national and international audiences. Grants are available from $10,000 to $50,000. Supported activities must last no longer than three years from the proposed start date.
Only individuals and groups may apply to this category. You must be a practising artist or arts worker and an Australian citizen or an Australian permanent resident.
