We're coming to Nashville!

1:30pm Lunch
2:30pm Panel: Mental Fitness in the Music Madness
3:30pm Q & A with panel and member reps; final performance
4pm Finish

Whether you're based in Nashville or travelling through, we hope you'll come along to talk about the topics and ideas that are important to Australian and New Zealand songwriters.

Mark Moffatt, Member Relations Nashville, will be joined by:

Jenny Morris, APRA Chair
Dean Ormston, Chief Executive
Ant Healy, Head of NZ Operations
Milly Petriella, Director Member Relations

Only so much can be said at the podium, under the glare of the spotlight, just moments after your name is called. So, we're hosting The Winners' Circle panel discussion, to hear firsthand from the previous evening's winners as they share insight about the music, the inspiration, and the behind-the-scenes tales of how their song came to be.

Who will be there? To be revealed!

Joining us to moderate is Sydney-based journalist Poppy Reid, Managing Editor, The Brag Media.

Chief Exec Dean Ormston will take members through the most recent annual review and financials, and discuss the opportunities, challenges and topics that matter to our songwriter, composer and music publisher members globally. Expect to hear about export and how we're working with government and industry, the international support for our members and the initiatives we're undertaking back in Australia and New Zealand.

A career in music can be very fulfilling, but also incredibly challenging due to required travel and unpredictable hours, working in isolation, career uncertainty and other factors. The aim of this panel is to help make mental health issues a normal conversation in the music industry. There is a real need for self-care strategies, access and connections to mental health resources and services.

Moderator Veronica Chambers, is a music publicist pursuing a degree in psychology, and she'll lead a discussion with:

Debbie Carroll, Vice President, Health and Human Services, MusiCares
Mark Moffatt, Member Relations Nashville, APRA AMCOS
Brian Cadd, Singer/Songwriter/Performer
Dave Pomeroy, Musician/Producer; Executive Officer, American Federation of Musicians
