The event is supported by South East Arts, Create NSW, and APRA AMCOS.

Being held at the Jigamy Farm near Eden, NSW, the attendees will work and learn alongside industry professionals with an array of experience. Joining Starting Ground South East NSW are producer/engineer/songwriter Neal Sutherland, singer-songwriter and APRA AMCOS Ambassador Benny Walker, Kokatha/Greek hip-hop artist Crystal Clyne aka Lady Lash, and Little Giant Agency's Danae Effern, who has created PR campaigns for notable Aboriginal musicians.
