Thursday, 11 May 2017

In big news for our members, our recommended insurance partner Aon, has just announced a game-changing new insurance policy.

Designed to support musicians for lost income following accidental injury, illness or permanent disability, the Musicians Support Policy provides affordable cover options that offer protection 24/7 - worldwide.

That means you’re covered on stage, on the road or even on your way to the shops, no matter where you are in the world.

“At Aon, we know our entertainment clients are often tied for time and important decisions such as purchasing insurance can sometimes fall off the radar, but we also know that there are always going be risks, on or off the stage,” says Simon Calabrese, Client Director, Entertainment & Events, Aon.

“Our new insurance policy, now available to APRA AMCOS members, is designed to give you the choice to pick the level and type of cover that best suits you and your needs.”

The policy includes a range of Personal Accident and Illness options that start at only $74.25 a year, and provide much needed support for up to three years of lost income.

“We’re thrilled to have helped Aon develop an insurance product tailored to meet the needs of Australian musicians,” says Milly Petriella, APRA AMCOS Director Member Relations.

“The policy offers peace of mind, and can reduce the stress caused by lack of income if you become sick or injured.”
