Sorry Day and taking the next steps for Reconciliation Week 2017

Friday, 26 May 2017

National Sorry Day 2017 marks 20 years since the Bringing them Home Report, 50 years since the 1967 referendum and 25 years since the Mabo decision.

Today we reflect on the injustice experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families. We show our support towards communities who were affected by Stolen Generations policies that have had profound repercussions for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people today.
