Global Roadshow with APRA AMCOS - London, LA and Nashville

Thursday, 15 Feb 2018

With so many of our members now residing in or regularly travelling through the world's songwriting hubs, we are embarking on a whirlwind global roadshow to connect with and discuss the issues important to Australian and New Zealand songwriters.

If you're going to be in LA, Nashville or London, we'd love for you to join us for a very special member event with current Head of Member Services and incoming CEO Dean Ormston, APRA Chair Jenny Morris, and Director of Member Relations Milly Petriella.

Each event will include remarks from Dean, Jenny and Milly, notable industry guests, and time to catch up with your fellow Aussies and Kiwis abroad.

Dean Ormston, Head of Member Services
In his current role as the Head of Member Services, Dean oversees our Membership, Distribution and Marketing & Communications portfolios. Dean works closely with the Federal and State Governments, lobbying for the recognition of creators’ rights and securing investment for a range of initiatives including Sounds Australia, the Live Music Office and SongHubs residency program. Dean will succeed Brett Cottle as APRA AMCOS Chief Executive Officer in July 2018.

Jenny Morris OAM, APRA Chair
Born in New Zealand, Jenny Morris OAM gained national attention in the 80's and 90's, with a string of platinum and multi-platinum albums. She received back-to-back ARIA awards for ‘Best Female Artist' and has toured the world with artists such as Sir Paul McCartney, Prince and INXS. Jenny has been the Chair of the APRA Board since 2013 and sits on the board of Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Australia.

Milly Petriella, Director of Member Relations
Milly has been supporting songwriters at all stages of their careers during her 23 years at APRA AMCOS. In addition to her role as EP of APRA's Music Awards, and championing the SongHubs program, Milly also administers the APRA AMCOS Ambassador program, the Professional Development Awards, Vanda and Young Songwriting competition and travels regularly to our offices in LA, London and Nashville.
