I’ve been at APRA AMCOS for just over 2 years (since May 2018).

What do you love most about APRA AMCOS?

I love working with people who care so much about what they do and who are so committed to helping our members. Everyone’s passion and dedication is what really makes the company special. I also love the variety of my job – there is always something new to learn and different directions to explore.

What makes you happy at work?

The feeling of making a difference is what keeps me going – when I can tangibly say that the work my team and I have done has helped our members pay their rent or take the next step in their career. I’m also happy when I’m problem solving, making peoples’ lives easier and really nerding out with data.

How has APRA AMCOS shaped your career?

I’ve been in music copyright for 14 years now, having previously worked at PRS for Music in the UK. Since APRA AMCOS is a smaller organisation, working here has given me the opportunity to explore new areas and grow my knowledge base to include all sorts of things I wasn’t dealing with directly in my previous role.

What was your main reason for wanting to join APRA AMCOS?

My (Aussie) partner and I wanted to road test the lifestyle out here and APRA AMCOS was the obvious choice of workplace. Luckily they decided that they wanted to see what I could offer and here I am.
