Monday, 09 Feb 2015

Congratulations to APRA AMCOS members who featured amongst the winners and nominees of the 2015 Grammy awards in Los Angeles, Sunday 8 February (LA time).

Respected producer M-Phazes was a part of the production team for Eminem's album 'The Marshall Mathers LP2' which took out Best Rap Album. M-Phazes is well known for his work in Australia with a diverse range of acts including Kimbra, Thelma Plum, Bliss n Eso and Eskimo Joe. His international work with Eminem has seen him receive his first Grammy and will no doubt lead to more world-class acts looking to work with the Australian producer.

Australian Contemporary Instrumentalist Fiona Joy's work has been recognised for her composition for 'Grace' which appeared on the album Winds Of Samsara by South African-born, Melbourne-based composer and flutist Wouter Kellerman and Indian composer and producer Ricky Kej. The album won the Grammy for 'Best New Age Album.'
