MisterWivesMushroom Music Publishing is excited to bring to the fold NYC-based Indie Pop Rockers MisterWives. Since forming only three years ago, the band has had a stellar ride. With their “Reflections” EP release in 2014 they quickly followed up with a tour and TV performances.

According to MTV Buzzworthy MisterWives are "next golden children of pop." Their single "Vagabond" from their 2014 debut album “Our Own House” became the opening theme of the MTV teen drama ‘Finding Carter.’ The band opened for ‘Twenty One Pilots’ as part of the ‘Quiet Is Violent’ world tour. The band has also performed on ‘VH1's Big Morning Buzz’ and ‘ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live.’

In advertising news, the Sync team have been busy with a notable mention to Epoch Failure’s “Champion” featuring on the latest advertisement for Swisse vitamins.

Vance Joy is still kicking goals with his 2014 release of “Mess Is Mine” for KFC’s “Chase The Taste” television commercial. The Quincy Jones’ classic “Soul Bossa Nova” has also been re-recorded for Woolworths.

Local darling Mia Wray’s beautiful and moving “Where I Stand” has also been featured on Chanel 7’s ANZAC series “The Power Of Ten.”

Tim Rogers & The Bamboos have released the first single Easy off their forthcoming album The Rules of Attraction (due out 22 May). Another shining collaboration, the songs are a progressive take on the sounds which have informed both artists’ previous work.

You Am I’s emblematic five song set features in the release of triple j: Beat The Drum with album and DVD releases of the live concert celebrating 40 years of triple j.

Mojo Juju’s second album Seeing Red/Feeling Blue has been released and first single A Heart Is Not A Yo-Yo, earning this single a finalist spot in the ISC Pop/Peoples Choice category. Fusing electronic, pop, soul and blues elements the album traverses both new and reminiscent territory by this exceptional artist.

May also sees the release of Ben Salter’s second solo album The Stars My Destination, produced by Dan Luscombe It’s unconventional, introspective and haunting, and represents Ben’s bravery, fluidity and significance as a songwriter.

Other upcoming album releases include Beccy Cole’s new studio album Sweet Rebecca. Through ABC Kids a Giggle & Hoot album titled Hootastic Tunes - songs by Sean Peter, Little May, Paul Kingston & Cain Horton, Allday, Terry Mann and Lior . And coming down the stairs soon is Classic Bananas in Pyjamas (Best Of).

The Australian leg of AC/DC’s ‘Rock or Bust’ Tour has been met with huge demand with sold out stadiums around the country resulting in additional dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane.
Congratulations to Paul Grabowsky for nominations at this year’s Australian Jazz Bell Awards, acknowledging the ARIA and AIR award-winning album ‘The Bitter Suite’ and song ‘Black Saffron.’

With the announcement of this year’s huge Splendour in the Grass line up, Alberts’ clients Megan Washington, The Delta Riggs, Eves The Behavior and San Cisco will make an appearance. Shlohmo (USA), Ryan Adams (USA) and The Vaccines (UK) with also join the festivities in Byron.
Meantime, The Delta Riggs and San Cisco are currently playing all Groovin the Moo dates around the country.

Out there in ad land, “BROTHERS ON THE SLIDE” by Cymande appears in a commercial for Air New Zealand, “ENERGY” by Apples in Stereo features in a campaign for AGL, “EVERYBODY WANTS TO RULE THE WORLD” performed by Lorde features in a TV promo for the A-League finals on Fox Sports, “IKO IKO” features in a brand campaign for Cadbury and you’ll hear “THUNDERSTRUCK” by AC/DC in a commercial for Colonial First State.
