AkovaFresh from the recording studio, AKoVA is currently out on tour with his new album, This Is Me Now, sharing the stage with Xavier Rudd and the United Nations to kick it off.

This conscious multi-instrumentalist is one of the most unique artists in Australia right now. Dubbed ‘The Rhythm King’ he utilises vocals, guitars, ukulele, Cajon, djembe, ankle bells and an assortment of other percussive instruments. Enthralling audiences as he plays most at once. His signature style comes from a life of music with tribal drumming, driving rhythms and lyrics that make you glad to be alive. Truly an experience for the eyes, feet ‘n’ soul.

Earlier this year AKoVA released his single and clip Time To Stand, with 50% of proceeds being donated to the World Wildlife Foundation because he believes in people and the planet before profit. Watch Time To Stand on YouTube.

AKoVA is currently touring nationally. For details visit www.akova.com.au.

The PinheadsIt was a regular old afternoon and the Pinheads were inside sipping on a couple of cold bevs after some super spacie jams. It was then they heard a strange sound. A whirring, beeping sound followed by a loud crash. Szzzzzz.... What could it possibly be...? They opened the door of the magic shed and were confronted by an extra-terrestrial being. It was a bruzzie from another planet who had crashed his damn space rig & was now stranded.

The Pinheads were spooked to the bone! But they soon realised however, that the martian was afraid as well and quickly befriended it. They shared the finest of tasty morsels and taught their new found space bruzz how to play like a Pinhead. The martian was so impressed it offered them a ride on its space ship and donned the boys in some new galactic space threads. To this day, the Pinheads have never quite seen the world in the same way.

The following clip is a visual account of the real and aforementioned events. It is the first of many epic intergalactic adventures to come, carried out by your favourite small headed, face melting, brain shrinking band…. THE PINHEADS !!!
