The 2016 APRA Music Awards were well and truly a night to remember. Between Don Walker’s speech on behalf of Cold Chisel, Courtney Barnett’s tale of feeling like a true songwriter when she received her APRA membership certificate and Adam Hyde from Peking Duk’s tracksuit, there were plenty of highlights.

Some of the best moments were phenomenal performances by some of Australia's leading artists, now available for your viewing pleasure:

Urthboy feat. Kira Puru and Bertie Blackman performed Daughter of the Light from Urthboy’s new album, The Past Beats Inside Me Like a Second Heartbeat, to open the Awards.

The Delta Riggs
took on Tame Impala’s Song of the Year winner Let It Happen

San Cisco
put their stamp on Courtney Barnett’s Pedestrian at Best

Gang of Youths teamed up with Montaigne to perform Jarryd James’ Do You Remember

Previous APRA Music Award winners, D.I.G., who are celebrating the 25th year since they first performed together, were joined by Ngaiire and newly discovered 13-year-old Sydney singer/songwriter, Ruel for an interpretation of Anchor by Birds of Tokyo

Guy Sebastian
put his inimitable soul style on C.W. Stoneking’s The Zombie

The Living End
closed the night with a performance of Khe Sanh in tribute to Cold Chisel
